年末恒例ノスタルジア、PCのデータ整理してたら、15年前にヒトシから手書きのメモで依頼された「歌詞の英訳」のデータが出てきた。

当時の俺、一生懸命ネットでスラングを調べたり、フィルの歌詞を読み込んだりして、何とかこの下劣で真摯で一瞬知性を覗かせる雰囲気を出せないかと、TOEIC500点程度の英語力をフル回転させて訳した歌詞。

英訳をヒトシに渡した後は、もう何をどう入れ替えて歌われてるもんだかさっぱり分らんかったんだけど、初めてこの英訳見ながらGROUND聴き返してみた。

ヒトシ、ほぼ100%、この通りに歌ってくれてたのな。
おっさんちょっと感動してしまったわ。
