A watch shows time. 　　　　　　 時計は時間を示す。
But time shows nothing. 　　　　だが時間はなにも示さない。
Time is invisible. 　　　　　　　　　時間は見えない。　
Time is intangible.　　　　　　　 　時間はさわれない。
Time may not fly.　　　　　　　　　時間は飛ばないかもしれない。
Time is too metaphysical 　　 　時間はあまりに形而上的だ。
Time is out of our reach. 　　　 時間はわれわれの手が届かない。
But we believe in time 　　　　　だがわれわれは時間を信じている
As if it ticks.　　　　　　　　　　　 あたかも時間が時を刻むかのように。
