I pray that I may accept everything that comes my way as a part of life.
私 の人生に訪れる 全ての事柄を、生きる事の 一つ一つとして 受け止める事が 出来ます様に。

I pray that I may make use of it in helping other people.
他の人々を 援助する事に於て、有効な私 として下さい。


AA Thought for the Day
今日のAA思考

For the past two months we have been studying passages and steps from the Big Book, Alcoholics Anonymous.
此の2ケ月間、私達は アルコホリクス・アノニマス(ビッグブック)に書かれて在る 幾つかの箇所と ステップについて 学んできた。

Now why not read the book itself again?
もう一度 ビッグブックそのものを読んでみよう!ではないか。

It is essential that the AA program become part of us.
AAプログラムが 私達の 血と肉となる事は、最も 必要とされる 本質である。

We must have its essentials at our fingertips.
私達は 此のプログラムの本質に 精通して いナケレバならない。

We cannot study the Big Book too much or too often.
ビッグブックについて 知り過ぎた と云う事は 無い。

The more we read it and study it, the better equipped we are to think AA, act AA, and live AA.
読めば 読む程、咀嚼(ソシャク)すれば する程、私達は AAプログラムに沿って考え・行動し・そして 生きる事が 身につくのだ。

We cannot know too much about the program.
此のプログラムについて 知り過ぎた と云う事は無い。

The chances are that we will never know enough.
むしろ、私達は 十分に知った と云う事さえ、決して無い!と言えるのだ。

But we can make as much of it our own as possible.
だが、ヨリ頻繁に 親しむ事によって、其の時の自分に 可能な限りのモノを、身に付ける事は 出来る筈だ。

How much of the Big Book have I thoroughly mastered?
私は ビッグブックを、どれ位 徹底して 身につけたか?

今日の黙想

We need to accept the difficulties and disciplines of life so as to fully share the common life of other people.
人生 と云うモノを、他の人々と 豊かに 分かち合う為に、私達は 生きる事の困難と、自己規制を 受け止めナケレバならない。

Many things that we must accept in life are not to be taken so much as being necessary for us personally, as to be experienced in order that we may share in the sufferings and problems of humanity.
生きる と云う事の中で 受け止めナケレバならない 多くの事柄は、私個人にとっては 然程 必要なモノでは無い かも知れないが、人類が抱える 問題と苦しみを 私の一部として 受け止める為には 大切なモノである。

We need sympathy and understanding.
私達は 理解と共感 を持たねばナラナイ。

We must share many of the experiences of life, in order to understand and sympathize with others.
他の人々を 理解し共感 出来る私達!となる為に、私達は 生きる事の 多くの経験を 分かち合わナケレバならない。

Unless we have been through the same experiences, we cannot understand other people or their makeup well enough to be able to help them.
同じ経験を 通らない限り、私達は 他の人々を 充分に理解する事は出来無いし、又 人間の多様性を 知らずに、人を 充分に援助する事は 出来無い。
