Prayer for the Day
今日の祈り

I pray that I may try to draw near to God each day in prayer.
祈りの中で 貴方に 近づかせて下さい。

I pray that I may feel His nearness and His strength in my life.
貴方が 傍におられる事を、そして 貴方の力が 私の生命に 流れ込む事を 感じさせて下さい。


AA Thought for the Day
今日のAA思考

Step Twelve is, “Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.”
ステップ12は“此れ等のステップを 経た結果、霊的に目覚め、此の話を 他の人達に伝え、又 自分のあらゆる事に、此の原理を実践する様に 努力した”。

Note that the basis of our effectiveness in carrying the message to others is the reality of our own spiritual awakening.
他の人々に 此のメッセージを運ぶ時 体験する効果は、私達自身にとって、霊的目覚めである事を 知ろう。

If we have not changed, we cannot be used to change others.
私達が 変えられた者 で無いなら、他の人が 変わる為に 役立つ者とは なり得ない。

To keep this program, we must pass it on to others.
此のプログラムによって 私自身が 生かされる為には、与えられたモノを 他の人々に 手渡さナケレバならない。

We cannot hoard it for ourselves.
独り占め する事は出来無いのだ!。

We may lose it unless we give it away.
与えない限り、手に入れたモノ迄 失ってしまう。

It cannot flow into us and stop; it must continue to flow into us as it flows out to others.
私の中に 流れ込み続けた 良いモノは 止まってしまうから、。私の中に 流れ続ける為には、私から 他の人へと 流出し続けナケレバならない。

Am I always ready to give away what I have learned in AA?
AAで 学んだ事 全てを、私は 他の人に与える 準備が いつも出来ているか?

今日の黙想

“Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you.”
「神に近づきなさい。ソウすれば 神も あなたに近づかれるであろう。」

When you are faced with a problem beyond your strength, you must turn to God by an act of faith.
私の力では、乗り越えられない問題に 直面する時、私は 信仰の実践によって 神に 目を向けよう。

It is that turning to God in each trying situation that you must cultivate.
私の成長を 育む試練の一つ一つに、神の援助を 求めよう。

The turning may be one of glad thankfulness for God's grace in your life.
神 に目を向ける事は、今 与えられている恵みに 喜びの感謝を 表す事である。

Or your appeal to God may be a prayerful claiming of His strength to face a situation and finding that you have it when the time comes.
又 神への嘆願は 現実に直面する力を 神に要求する 祈りであり、其の祈りは 時が満ちた時 応えられる。

Not only the power to face trials, but also the comfort and joy of God's nearness and companionship are yours for the asking.
神 に求めるモノは、試練に立ち向かう 力だけでは無く、神が 傍に居て下さる 喜びと慰め・又 臨在の平安 である。
