今日の祈り

I pray that I may be loyal to God and to others.
神様、貴方と 人々に対して 私が 忠実であります様に。

I pray that my life today may be lived close to His and to theirs.
私の今日一日が、貴方と 他の人々に 親しむモノであります様に。


AA Thought for the Day
今日のAA思考

The AA way is the way of sobriety, and yet there are slips.
AAへの道は ソブラエティへの道である。にも拘らず スリップ と云う事実も有る。

Why do these slips occur?
どうして スリップが起こるのだろうか?

Why don't we all accept AA and stay sober from then on?
何故 私達は全員 AAを受け入れて、其の後 ソブラエティに止まり続ける 事が出来無いのだろうか?

There are many reasons, but it has been proved without exception that once we have become alcoholics we can never drink successfully again.
此の質問には 多くの理由がある。ダガ 一人の例外も無しに 証明されている事は、一旦 アルコホリックになった私達は 再び 問題無く 酒を飲む事は 決して出来無い と云う事である。

This has never been disproved by any case we know of.
此の事実は 私達が知っている 如何なるケースによっても、覆された事が無い。

Many alcoholics have tried drinking after a period of sobriety from a few days to a few years and no one that we know of has been successful in becoming a normal drinker.
アルコホリックの多くが、数日のソブラエティの後、又 数年のソブラエティの後に 飲む事を 試したが、私達が知っている限り、誰も 普通の社交的飲酒者に 戻る事に成功した者は いなかった。

Could I be the only exception to this rule?
私は 此の事実に対して、たった一人の 例外 で有り得る!と思うか?


Meditation for the Day
今日の黙想

“We are gathered together in Thy name.”
「神の名の下(モト)に 私達は集まる。」

First, we are gathered together, bound by a common loyalty to God and to each other.
先ず私達は 神と 互いに対する 信頼によって 結ばれて 集まるのだ。

Then, when this condition has been fulfilled, God is present with us.
此の様にして 一つの共同体が出来た時、神は 共におられる。

Then, when God is there and one with us, we voice a common prayer.
私達の中に 神が 共におられる時、私達の祈りには 調和がある。

Then it follows that our prayer will be answered according to God's will.
調和の内に在る祈りは、神の意志に基づいて 答えられる。

Then, when our prayer is answered, we are bound together in a lasting fellowship of the spirit.
私達の祈りが 答えられる時、私達は スピリット(霊)に於て 私達のフェローシップ(仲間意識)の中に 結ばれるのである。
