今日の祈り

I pray that my day may be brightened by some little act of charity.
愛の小さな実践で、私の日々が 明るいモノとなります様に。

I pray that I may try today to overcome the self-centeredness that makes me bored.
退屈 をモタラス自己中心性を 私から取り除いて下さい。


AA Thought for the Day
今日のAA思考

I have gotten rid of most of my boredom.
退屈な時間 と云うモノが 私から 殆ど無くなった。

One of the hardest things that a new member of AA has to understand is how to stay sober and not be bored.
AAに 参加する様になった 新しいメンバー達にとって 最も苦しい事の一つは、酒を飲まないで 退屈しない為には どうすればヨイか?と云う事である。

Drinking was always the answer to all kinds of boring people or boring situations.
退屈な人々、そして 退屈な状況の あらゆる場面に於て、飲酒は 其の空間を 常に満たしてくれる 良い答 であった。

But once you have taken up the interest of AA, once you have given it your time and enthusiasm, boredom should not be a problem to you.
ダガ もし私が AAに関心を持ち、私の 時間と情熱を 其の活動に提供するなら、退屈 と云う事は 私を悩ます 問題では無くなる。

A new life opens up before you that can be always interesting.
今迄 知らなかった 新しい生き方の道が 目前に示され、其の道を歩む事は、とても 興味ある事となる。

Sobriety should give you so many new interests in life that you shouldn't have time to be bored.
ソブライティに生きる 生き方は、多くの 新しい関心 を日々モタラしてくれるので、退屈する暇は無い のである。

Have I gotten rid of the fear of being bored?
退屈 と云う化物への 恐れは 消えたか?

今日の黙想

“If I have not charity, I am become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal.”
「愛がなければ、其の行為は空しい。」

Charity means to care enough about other people to really want to do something for them.
愛は 他の人々に対する 深い思いやり であり、其の人の 成長の為になる事を 心から望む実践 である。

A smile, a word of encouragement, a word of love, goes winged on its way, simple though it may seem, while the mighty words of an orator fall on deaf ears.
暖かい微笑み・勇気をモタラす言葉・愛されている事を 感じる言葉、単純 と思われるかも知れないが 其れは 永遠に深く 人の心に響くモノである。其れに引き換え、雄弁で 尤もらしい言葉は 人の心には 届かない。

Use up the odd moments of your day in trying to do some little thing to cheer up another person.
日々、何もする事の無い 一寸した時間を、誰かに良い事をモタラす 単純な行動に 使う様に 心掛けよう。

Boredom comes from thinking too much about yourself.
退屈は 自分に 目が向き過ぎる事から ヤッてくる。
